dave was it the knock against sex in the city? that show ruined a generation of nice wholesome girls. It puts me in a rage, the way Lou Dobbs does when he reads letters from his audience members suggesting that he run for president. Yankees fans just slowly burn under my skin, like people who litter and spit, and take up too much space on the subway stairs. To me the yankees represent all that’s hateful in new york.
I play the drums, so I guess the answer is yes. I’m not talking about holding one crash cymbal on each hand and marching in a parade with a funny costume.
ENY, I went to the Yankee game on Sunday and have to say I was very impressed with the new stadium. My expectations, despite the lofty pricetag, were very low. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Everything about it was wonderful. I didn’t even mind coughing up $9 for a beer (plus tip), as I was on such a high admiring everything. I arrived 2 hours prior to game time to look around. There wasn’t one minute one did not realize one was on the Yankees home turf, with all of the video tributes and pictures of the legends all over the place. Unfortunately, Citi Field is totally different; one can easily forget who the home team is when walking around there.
if not for my G-Men winning the yr b4, NJ/NYC has been suffering thru massive championship drought. Can you believe that Pittsburgh is currently Championship City (champs in Football and Hockey)
