That is why unions annoy the sh!t outta me. That is ridiculous. I’m sad to see jobs leave the area, but the other part of me says, f-u…that’s what you dumb @sses get for being greedy. Let’s see if they get 18-23 per hour and 9 wks paid leave as head fry cook at McDonald’s. ARGH!
The Stella Doro factory in the Bronx is closing 🙁 They’re moving elsewhere. The article says the union didn’t think the 18-23 dollars an hour and 9 WEEKS PAID LEAVE (as well as pension and healthcare benefits) was enough. 9 weeks paid leave????? Thank you unions. And now wave goodbye to the jobs.
