Legion, I think you went a bit off the rails. Re: health care, Obama is going out of his way not to model it on Canada or UK. He has emphatically ruled out single payer, and will be leaving private insurance largely intact. Quite frankly, I think he’s giving too much away on health care to entrenched prviate sector interests, but he is practicing the art of the possible.
