  1. Dibs – yes I know that! – but am talking catalog sales
ACDC surpassed the Beatles actually in 2007(without releasing any new material) and then again in 2008
I appreciate the Beatles influence on Music, but they aren’t the best selling act of all time forever and ever the way people make them out to be! – that’s all

  2. quote:

oh – and none of the beatles molested children

maybe not, but i bet they molested a lot of women. im sorry but i find them very ugly and very blah. but i understand they have lots of fans and people see a lot into their music, that’s cool and stuff.

on that note, MJ probably died from overdosing on Fentanyl patches. frail people like him can’t handle those.

    *rob*

  3. Not hating them Dave just really sick of them.

We know they are wonderful but enough already. e get it. Seriously. Enough.

They do not need to be yanked into every conversation about music for god sakes. It’s like no one can talk about anything without the constant “Yeah but they’d have been nothing without the Beatles” line…

So everyone else should stop making music? No one should ever try to achieve anything lest they be thrown under the shadow of the Beatles.

    Puh-friggin-leeze….moving on…

  4. Dibs – I can pull real stats and figures as I work at the label to attest how many units MJ has sold.

Did you know that ACDC actually were the # selling act in the world in 2008 – topping the beatles – did you know that?

    DH:
come on now – don’t pull out of this discussion
Am sorry MJ influenced the world – black and white. His career spanned 35 years since he was 5 years old – he sold more albums than the beatles, shit he owned 50% of the beatles catalog. He influenced fashion, videos, not to mention all pop,R&B,Hip hop acts today.
The Beatles are great in their own category and I will never discredit them – but I don;t feel you can compare the two and then say the Beatles were more influential than MJ
