“Not since the 1990s when I had friends who lived on Avenue A. I swore off the East Village after spending WAY too many nights there. I developed a phobia about that part of town and haven’t been back since. Maybe it’s time to return.”
Yeah ENY – I try to stay away from that part of town whenever possible. Anything good is WAY too crowded.
“ENY – Have you been to Zum Schneider’s in the East Village?”

“Anyone ever had bacon infused bourbon??? Smoke joint makes their own, along with a whole other bunch of infued whiskeys. Peaches has a lot too.”
Yeah Dave – I had an old fashioned with bacon infused vodka at PDT in the East Village. Doesn’t really taste like bacon per se, you get more of the hickory smoked flavor.
Double Down saloon on Ave a and 1st has bacon infused vodka (which is essential a bottle of vodka witih some slim jims stuck in it)
You don’t HAVE to know when it comes to Eastern European beer, infinite. They’re all good, man! Besides, cheap American beer is not by any means solely the domain of the white boys. Plenty of brothers drink these brands too! Just goes to show that bad taste cuts across racial lines.

Rewrite…
I’ve always been a good sucker on a good date.
[Speaking about myself of course]

We need to have a welcome party for 11217. This is step one to showing up at a FOB (not FOD) party.

“Obscure Eastern European beers are SO much superior
EUROTRASH”
Touche, Dave.
I’ve always been a sucker for a good dare.
And in the spirit of learning to play nicer, I thought I could oblige, Dave.
p.s. Cobblehiller – Did you ever forgive me for me being a total ass to you? I hope you’re well.
ENY – Have you been to Zum Schneider’s in the East Village? Pretty good German Beer bar on Ave C – they have some obscure stuff.
My fav beers by far are belgian ales (duvel, chimay, delirium etc) – all over 8% abv and complex. They are a little heavy for the summer though.
