  1. Biff, I don’t really like “normal” myself, but I don’t think I deserve the honor quite yet. Perhaps I should be a probationary PLUSA for the time being to see if I can live up to it…?

    True dat ditto – a bar near me serves cask ale at room temp – and it’s amazing how when *good* beer is warm you can really taste so much more. They have an IPA that tastes JUST like grapefruit. it’s insane

    Haven’t tried non-blended Lambics (i don’t think) I guess you mean ones that aren’t fruity? (like framboise or cassis being fruity ones)

    do you know any brand names?

    11217, while it sounds insulting when spelled out, we actually consider it a big honour to be a PLUSA. It sort of means one has finally arrived and is the member of an exclusive club; albeit one that most normal people with more interesting things to do would want no part of.
