The guard that shot the moron is a hero. unfortunately the security guy that got shot and died didn’t even see it coming. I think some witnesses say he got shot in the back.
Oh bxgrl, there is no positive spin on it. Sucker lived long enough. Thank god he didn’t manage to actually get through the rest of the guard and just start shooting people.
I sure hope you’re right, bxgrl. That guard was a hero. I thought it was appropriate to shut down the Museum in the wake of his death in order to honour him.

Reminds me of a line from SNL Weekend Update back in the Chevy Chase days–
Our top story tonight: dedication ceremonies for the new Teamsters Union Headquarters building took place today in Detroit, where Union President Fitzsimmons was reported to have said that former President Jimmy Hoffa will always be a cornerstone in the organization.
I wonder if Dov Hikind will care to say something about whether or not it was ok to close the Museum today to honor the Black security guard who died? After all, the man was not Jewish. (I can’t stand Hikind, as if no one noticed.)
I tried to put a positive spin on it, biff- 88 years of pure misery for him. Not a moment’s happiness- that has to be worth something.
“This is the conundrum that BHO and MM face. There is less and less supply and they may not find something to their liking. Only once the market has bottomed and started to move up will more supply come out. Additionally, rates will be higher. Oh dear, what to do????

Not really a conundrum. More supply will come to the market – as resets hit, people burn through redundancy money, etc.
I, for one, am welcoming higher rates (both for my savings and as a prospective buyer) because that is going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and pushes prices back to rationality.

chicken…how do you think the markets will respond if Ahmedinejhad doesn’t get the 50% and there’s a runoff???
And then if he loses????
“Great I can make Dave part of the foundation…
The What (Just joking, NOT!)”

Yes, those are from our meeting, etson. Notice that the dessert offerings are lacking. 🙁
