Yes…but only Biff remembered who she was. This all remends me of Tokyo back in the 1980s. A bunch of British stockbrokers used to write in ridiculous letters to the editor of the Japan Times back then and they pretty much all got published. They were strated by a guy named Chris Taylor who wrote as a far right of right minister named the Revenernd Christopher M. Taylor. He would write in about things like female slavery, “Yellow cabs”, colonialism and all sorts of other stuff to rile people up na dthe Japan Times was clueless that these were all phony.
His colleagues wrote under various names..
Dr. Ken Shin Ton Park (Korean…say it really fast)
Leighton Buzzard (Aussie)
Juan Lapulapu (Filipino)
Id Sittarondalot (Thai)
and various others…
Eventually all the letters to the editor were published in a book.
One of the funniest lines was “Even under the Italians, Ethiopia never starved.”
