facebook annoys me cuz most of the people who i thought were like really stupid in high school turned out to have great careers and stuff. while i had no life and studied my ass off, i wound up having the opposite! oh well. bitter grapes i know. also pretty much every single person has kids. it’s weird.
people in my high school were not mean or anything. it wasn’t very clique-ish. it was probably one of the most (truly) diverse high schools in north jersey both racially and economically. so that was cool. when i went to college i was like holy crap i had a hard time dealing with so many white people.
THL – I found at my 25th college reunion that some people I’d shunned back in the day were pretty interesting. Not sure whether they’d changed or I’d gotten more tolerant.
