Gosh you’re all such food snobs. Granted I know that Some of the items we’ve mentioned like MCD’s, Chinese delivery, Dominos, and Olive Garden can’t be found in any Michelin Guides but still….yeesh.
I’m so going to offer any of you one of the S’mores Brownies I just made.
The brownie itself started off from a box mix. I didn’t fly in chocolate from Switzerland made from organic cacao beans and shave it down myself. I didn’t even use free range organic eggs from a food coop. I bought mine at BJ’s. I even used graham crackers from a box.
well in my defense i don’t have much of a palate when it comes to food. and considering i prefer malt liquor to gourmet brewed beers i guess my thinking olive garden probably tastes just the same as al di la (never been there tho) is par the course.
(not sure what Gemini’s excuse is) hahahah luv u gem 😉
CG, I’ve eaten at Chance once in my life when it opened and it was one of my worst dining experiences. I know then changed the menu since then but I get hibby jibbies everytime I hear about that place.
“i’ve been to some italian restaurants in nyc and honestly they all tasted just like olive garden. it’s just pasta and sauce and bread for the most part. you cant really screw that up.”
“Olive Garden isn’t that bad – come on you guys?”
Poor, poor misguided souls. It’s kind of sad to think of how you may have come to these conclusions.
omg i totally miss thread makes me miss going to the olive garden at the mall in jersey in college! 🙁 i’ve been to some italian restaurants in nyc and honestly they all tasted just like olive garden. it’s just pasta and sauce and bread for the most part. you cant really screw that up.
Ha ha Rob, I think Olive Garden does taste better than Al Di La (sorry 11217).
Disclaimer: I do not like Olive Garden and do not compare it to authentic Italian Food.
“ENY – have you been to Olive Garden?”
Obviously NOT if he’s still alive and posting!
