  1. Snappy, I would have to ask her. I despise cooking and stay out of the kitchen so I don’t know what exactly is in there. But it is pretty simple. It’s just noodles, shrimp (or chicken or pork or beef) and she usually throws in some mixed veggies. I think the key is in the sauce, which I would guess includes soy sauce and/or black bean sauce, oil, cornstarch and garlic.

  2. “I guess our questions drove him and Jessi out of here.”

Nope, I’m here, biff! It’s just hard to catch up at the end of the day (irregular internet access at work, yadda yadda yadda). That, and the useless faculty meeting after school.

BRG, where in Bay Ridge would you recommend for a good sheesha/argeela/hookah?

  3. DIBS — signing off for today but have you been to Sunset Park Chinatown? 8th Ave in the 50s. A few places are supposed to be quite good. Much more like CHinatown than like local Brooklyn takeout. Nothing too high end, though.

  4. Snappy, are a hard core PBL. You don’t even want nuts in your food!

Mrs. C puts shrimp in many dishes, including her fried rice and chow fun. She also makes a great dish with thin noodles, shrimp, broccoli and garlic. She makes a ton of dishes with chicken and beef as well.
