Cobble, it wasn’t just you and BH so don’t worry. That waitress gave us crap for standing around the front tables as soon as we got there and the bartenders, while nice once they finally got to each person, were quite slow. I’m glad we moved over to Floyd NY; it was much better for many reasons.
I’m not sure s/he is the best choice for that role – Biff, are you going to nominate a specific PLUSA for each future event?

Slopefarm and cobblehiller, thanks for the prom king and queen award. We had the idea last night that Mr. B ought to start a speed-dating thing at the flea.
Benson – my condolences. It never gets any easier.
Cobble, the waitress told us not to stand in the front because we were blocking her tables (which are for eating only) and people might think they couldn’t sit there. She wasn’t very nice about it and the truth is alcohol runs up a higher tab than food so they should have been happy if we sat. 20 people drinking and only blocking 2 small 2-seater tables would have been a huge plus for her money-wise. The dolt!
