  1. I have a suggestion for a future get-together: the famous L&B Spumoni Gardens in my old neighborhood of Gravesend:

As the web-site states, it is famous for its pizza and spumoni. The pizza is quite unique, and many believe it is one of the best in NYC. The best time would be in the summertime, because you can sit outside on picnic tables and we can talk as a group. It does get pretty crowded though. They also have a very cheap restaurant and you can sit inside, but it gets pretty raucous.

It’s definitely a different slice of life from Brownstone Brooklyn. Alot of old-timers there.

  2. “I need to know what you eat and drink so I can preserve myself like that – help a sister out!!! :)”

Thank you, I blame my mother and Kiehl’s moisturizer! It sure as heck isn’t my bad habits!

“Cobble, it wasn’t just you and BH so don’t worry”
“She wasn’t very nice about it”

I didn’t get the attitude, we came, we talked, we SPENT money – sheesh! Maybe they were short staffed? Bah!

  3. Didn’t like the Ale House set up…preferred Floyd’s much better as they have sofa’s and as evident by last night, we all crashed on them and hung out.
Lounge type of place is def. better for this group.

  4. Never heard of a ‘Gunner’ as a drink – learn something every day, even about the land of my birth.
Main connection of the word ‘Gunner’ for a Brit now would be a supporter of Arsenal FC.
