  1. Just back from San Francisco and now bemoaning the food in Brooklyn!

    Randonly picking new restaurants, I ate better in SF than 7 years in Brooklyn (the old lots-of-good-places-but-none-great here.) Fresh veggies, good brunches, great coffee (when can you say that about any brunch place here?) And a fusion sushi-Latin place called Sangha was to die for. Prices about the same.

    Even a croissant at SFO was better than almost anything in PS except Sweet Melissas.

    Oh well, Brooklyn has its compensations.
