honestly i never got the appeal of kitchen cabinets or what purpose they really serve other than to hide pots and pans. im sure there are more interesting storage options out there, no? too many cabinets just remind me of coffins and caskets and who wants to look at that when they are eating breakfast!?
hoboken: that’s a legitimate forum post! you might get more responses in the renovation forum. the only advice the heathers here are going to be able to offer you is what youll have to do to you know who to get into the next kegger. 🙁

Happy New Year to all. I have a question for you guys. My sister just purchased a cute home but the home had no kitchen. What happened is she purchased a short sale in which the home was being renovated and the only thing that wasn’t finished is the kitchen. She is looking to spend 20k on it and I was curious as to where she could get good kitchen cabinets for a under 10 k. Ikea and Home depot are two but anyone know of any other place. She would like to go with a shaker style but Ikea doesn’t offer it in wood. Any help would be appreciated.

The HD in Manhattan has a kitchen/bath design center that offers far more cabinet choices than a regular HD. It’s the one at 60th and 3rd Ave.

Anything else, I can get for you, our lordship! Google, learn to use it! Geez, it took me 1 minute with a google search.
If I was nice, I’d give you the time, so you don’t have to scroll thru the entire thread…but in the new year, I’m not going to be nice.
“BRG, thanks for the link. But I prefer boys briefs on women.”
Are you sure, you don’t mean Lacy Boy ‘Shorts’ undies.
