A new kids store opened a couple of weeks ago at 152 Atlantic Avenue in Cobble Hill. In addition to toys and books, the new spot, called Mini Max Toys and Cuts, also offers hair cuts, performances, arts and crafts, as BHB points out. It was started by four local mothers in the space formerly occupied by Pomegranate Looms and Cook’s Companion. Anyone check it out yet? GMAP
Remember that SNL skit of new toys to give your kids for x-mas I think…Bag-o glass!
bring back lawn darts and soldering sets
yep. dollar stores have toy cell phones. they even come with candy in them 🙂 ive been suckered into buying a few myself hahahah. just dont be one of those annoyingly over concerned parents that frit and fret over every toy and the possibility of toxicity blah blah blah. believe me, if you do that, in 18 years your kid will hate you.

Northsloperenter…check the dollar bin at Target. They have that kind of stuff in there all the time. Also go to the dollar stores on 5th ave in the south slope…full of that kind of stuff.
I really need a toy cell phone and/or TV remote to amuse my kid as he is obsessing over them.
Been to 3 toy stores and can’t find one. I’d give him a real one, but I’m pretty sure he’d eat it.
Lulu’s is still open.
omg the sit n spin thingie was something i ALWAYS wanted as a kid hahahah. for some reason i never got it. grrr. i totally miss the days of being able to eat and chew on your toxic toys without grown-ups having a fit about it. it must suck to be a kid today. no fun

Sit n Spin ruled…until I hurled! A child with motion sickness…I had very little fun!
I recommend Jarts, Sit n’ Spin and Kerbangers (check on Ebay).
Now they were fun!
yep. educational toys are ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. sorry but if you buy your kids crappy toys they wind up growing up to hate you.
