Signage is up at the future new and expanded location of Greene Grape, the Fort Greene wine store that has also spawned a locavore grocery with fresh fish and meat (Greene Grape Provisions) and a small coffee shop (Green Grape Annex) along this stretch of Fulton. The new store replaces Night of the Cookers, an African-American-owned bar and restaurant that opened here in 1999. Former Night of the Cookers owner Phil Myers owns 767 Fulton Street, so Greene Grape will be paying rent to him. Greene Grape opened its first store next door at 765 Fulton Street. GMAP
