New Coffee Shop Brewing in Kensington

Earlier this week a reader sent in this photo showing a sign outside the future home of a coffee shop called Steeplechase that’s going to open on Ft. Hamilton Parkway between East 2nd and 3rd streets. The Kensington Area Resident/Merchant Alliance’s blog had a writeup of the business last month and shots of progress of the interior; it’s supposed to be open seven days a week and have indoor and outdoor seating.
