Morbid Anatomy Museum

The carefully curated esoterica at Gowanus’s Morbid Anatomy Museum is not for sale, but similar wares will be up for grabs at the museum’s flea market this Sunday.

Hosted by Morbid Anatomy’s neighbor The Bell House, the wonderland of arcane tchotchkes will include antiques, “special drinks” and taxidermy, as well as multiple tables’ worth of antiquities and osteology (aka skeletons), insect shadowboxes, mourning rings, and abject housewares.

The flea market will go from 12-6 p.m. on December 13 at 149 7th Street in Gowanus. Entry tickets cost just $1.

Not for the faint of heart, those seeking even more oddities can shell out an extra $7 to visit Morbid Anatomy’s museum exhibition, just at the end of the block.

Tickets can be purchased both online or at the door.
