Speaking of crime blotter fodder:

Now I know why the F train was shut down this morning. Horrible story.
I hate to nitpick, put I, for one, wouldn’t mind if you held back from regularly linking to the NY Times “Local” Fort Greene crime blotter.
I assume it is the most thorough crime blotter in NYC, and on its own is fascinating, but linking to it is rather facile and it does the neighborhood a bit of a disservice.
I would suggest that if you continue to direct readers to the crime blotter nearly every week, it would be nice if you could increase the number of links you include to more positive pieces on the Local.
There have been some very interesting pieces on the Local that you have missed and would have been nice reading for the general Brooklynite who reads Brownstoner but does not check the Local often.
