the fireworks last night totally made up for the suck fest that was 4th of july. They were pretty awesome, at least from Ft. Greene!
Manhattan Bridge 100th anniv. Actual date is Dec. 31 so they did it now.
Yes, why were there fireworks last night. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard them. I was listening to music and is sounding like an explosion outside. Once the volume was turned down, it was clear the noise was fireworks. I think the display was very short. They looked nice (we have a partial Manhattan view from our house in Fort Greene believe it or not. Was there some sort of holiday??? Or, was it for a wedding or some celebration? Just curious.
