I agree with you – if anyone posted something so screed-like on here they would never return I’d imagine. It is a class-based thing.
A lot of new couples living in more expensive neighborhoods can be dicks though. In the cheaper, less prominent nabes, Ditmas Park I think being one, I’d imagine not, but you never know. Certain couples with kids can be VERY unfriendly, even if they are your age or if they are like your own kids.
All this shows is how the middle class is getting pushed out – the OP was essentially making a “there are no middle class people anymore” argument. They’re right, but blaming newcomers is wrong.
The only middle class is in the large towns anymore, voting for McCain.
