The Brooklyn Paper reports that the City Council green-lighted the rezoning of a vacant lot in Williamsburg that will pave the way for the construction of two buildings set to include “the latest clubhouse of Manhattan tastemaker Taavo Somer, co-owner of the Lower East Side restaurant Freeman’s and West Village hangout The Rusty Knot.” The location in question, on Wythe near South 2nd Street, is where JellyNYC held a concert series last summer. The article says one building will have 59 market-rate rentals and the other will have 18 that are below-market rate. No details on when ground will be broken for the project.

“but like a queens or brooklyn late teen or college crowd” – I’m pretty sure you just described B&T, or at least a large percentage of it!
sea is not so much B&T, but like a queens or brooklyn late teen or college crowd. not a fan of the food. still looks ok, but out of place. WB is the opposite of the meat packing district which is full of frat boys in suits now with teenage models and their handlers hanging around. freemans is not the meat packing crowd necessarily anyway.
^ yes!

No matter how much you pay, if you’re in Brooklyn, you’re B&T.
Accept it. Own it. Embrace it.
Wythe Ave. and South 2nd does not make sense, there are no vacant lots at that intersection.
I’ve been to SEA a few times – i call them for delivery occasionally and enjoy their mojitos (shhh – don’t tell anyone)
Going to SEA is a forgivable mistake for out-of-towners from Park Slope.
I think B&T has become relative. And relatively speaking, North 6th Street (Sea in particular) is B&T.
So other than 11217, who has actually been to Sea?!
i guess.. shrug. i thought moonfaces liked the 80s
