BUYERS BEWARE!!! I bought at one brooklyn bridge park and now am having to sue them. I have tried emails, phone calls, official letters to the sponsor…just try to get a response, as they’ve planted trees directly in front of my view. I have tried for months to get an answer from the management company and now the sponsor. I haven’t even gotten an answer to what kind of trees have been planted!!! I have no other course of action but to take legal recourse. THIS IS NOT THE LUXURY BUILDING THEY ARE PRETENDING TO BE!!!!! BEWARE!!!!

“Awaye Realty introduces: Old World Charm Directly Across from Prospect Park. $1,000,000 REDUCTION! Estate Sale by Motivated Seller MUST SELL!”
cGar- he’s not as ocd as some of us about tracking price v widget. that said, 65 ppw is an anomoly: ridiculously priced to start, unique location, noname/bad realtor, no fotos led everyone astray. it’s a hazard of shopping for a home via the internet. 50% off ask is NOT equal to 50% off peak comps.
CGar — it’s because Mr. B hates his own widget. It’s a self-loathing thing. Or maybe this is the first big example? One of the two, I’m sure.
Very interesting. Why do you suppose Mr. B never posts when the widget price exceeds the actual sales price, only when the sales price trounces the widget?
Wowzers! Really? And also 35% below “widget” price.
4/28/09 hotd sold for 1.410; 3% below widget and 17% below ask.
4/22/09 hotd 65 ppw is 36% below widget and 52% off ask.
Special mention 65 Prospect park West 50% off initial ask.
