New Italian Restaurant for Bed Stuy
There’s been talk on Eater and Bed Stuy Blog about an Italian restaurant called Sud Vino & Cucina opening at 1102 Bedford, at Lexington. As of yesterday, it was indeed open. The specialty is Southern Italian cuisine. It’s a BYOB, and the prices seem reasonable. Click through for a picture of the daily specials. Anybody…

BoCoCa – Sound like a term a toddler would use to tell his mommy he made a deposit in his diaper
BoCoCa? Sounds like a term that someone from Albany would use.
FYI: They are BYOB because they are waiting on their wine and beer license. They plan to have a wine list that features wines from the south, of not only Italy but other southern regions. also…the owner is from Sicily! see y’all there~~ciao!
The menu doesn’t appear to have particularly “southern” fare especially with cream/cheese sauces. Where’s the seafood? But I wish them luck and I’ll check it out.
Etson, the restaurant is closer to the G than any other line. The Bedford-Nostrand stop, on Lafayette Avenue. If you like walking, one could take the A to Nostrand, walk over to Bedford, and then truck all the way up to Lexington.
Dave, your walk to BoCoCa (gag) would also have to include much of the same walking time as Park Slope, depending on where you’re going.
Whatever.
This looks a shorter walk from Franklin C than PS is from Clinton Washington C.
But I understand about BedStuy being huge.
6-8 minute A train to Hoyt Schermerhorn for BoCoCa
6-8 Minute c train to Clinton Washington and then 15-20 min walk to PS area
I don’t do buses.
Dave, do tell: how is it easier for you to get to PS or BoCoCa than this area???
