In Bed Stuy: "I Have Great News, I Have a Very Good Offer for Your House"

We’re in the dog days of summer, so let’s take a break for a nice story about a reader’s recent visit to Bed Stuy after leaving the neighborhood for Washington State:
I left Bedford Stuyvesant about a year ago and moved to Tacoma, Wash. This past week I decided to stop by our Brooklyn neighborhood and take a very hot walk and see how things were going. There are so many changes that have taken place in my neighborhood of Stuyvesant East by Saratoga Square Park to write about in this one short email. After baking around I bought a bottle of water at the bodega and sat on the stoop of a brownstone that had a lock and chain on the front door. After sitting, I looked at the step beneath me and the business card with the writing pretty much summed up what is happening here in the Stuyvesant East neighborhood of eastern Bedford Stuyvesant. I could not believe how much more quieter it was here than my neighborhood in Tacoma. I miss you, Brooklyn.
“a nice story “.
It’s not funny, interesting, doesn’t make any points, doesn’t have a worthy logical conclusion, the writing style is simplistic and unengaging, yawn.
I think it’s probably safe to assume that many of the gut renovation jobs are the end product of this kind of thing. Anyone know for sure?
We’ve all been getting these for months.
@post1175, don’t hate me for trying to raise the standards of this blog 😉
Haha, I actually like the boots, +1 for that!
