washington-park-1008.jpgBoth the Daily News and Newsday are reporting that human remains were found in a box on Washington Park last night. The medical examiner has not released details on gender, age or ethnicity yet. According to a tipster, the dog walkers in Fort Greene Park were “buzzing” about the news this morning. Bad news for this listing?

  1. Read the beginning of my post Wasder, I agree that this crime has nothing to do with the projects (although I did do my venting about them after words).
And yes I may have ripped his name but am completely opposite of him. I am not ashamed to be a gentrifier or like the gentrification process going on.

  2. I would suspect strongly that this has nothing to do with the projects, which aren’t even that close to this location. The When you are as lame as the person whose name you are ripping off.

  3. “It sounds like you will HAVE dead people living in your house. Stay your arse outta the neighborhood. We don’t need ya!”

Anyone who uses the word arse needs to get kicked in the kidneys.

  4. I abhor housing projects, especially those known to be riddled with crime, but this isn’t the type I would relate specifically to projects. This isn’t petty thievery, muggings or drug dealing.

And I agree with TD, I live in Clinton Hill and I have every right to bitch about Housing Projects, I own my home, so in my not so humble opinion, I have a lot more say in the neighborhood than some freeloading project dwellers.
With the city about to start losing money due to rising housing costs and the flattening economy, it will be no time before they will start selling off housing projects in nicer neighborhoods. I can’t wait.

Yes, I am callus but I don’t care.

  5. “This discovery made big news all over the city.”

Really? Because it happened in front of my building, and i haven’t been able to find any news about it today.

It was on Washington Park, near DeKalb. The cops got here around 10 Tuesday night and taped off a section of the block. Everyone in my building was questioned.

This is something that would be upsetting no matter where it happened and no matter how much I paid for rent.
