The festive season is truly on the horizon when holiday fairs start popping up on the calendar, and this year an annual Brooklyn Heights tradition serves up some pre-Thanksgiving shopping.
The Danish Seamen’s Christmas Fair offers Scandinavian design, ornaments, knitwear and other treats to gift, as well as some traditional Danish food to satisfy your taste buds amidst the shopping. This year, the tasty goodies will include homemade æbleskiver (sort of an apple popover), glögg and baked goods as well as some imported Danish treats.
The free market is open on Saturday and Sunday November 19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It takes place at the Danish Seamen’s Church at 102 Willow Street. More information can be found on the event page online.
