Last night the owners of Guero’s Taco Bar, on Prospect Place between Classon and Franklin, petitioned Community Board Eight for a beer and wine licence at a pizza restaurant they are opening at 685 Franklin Avenue, on the corner of Prospect. There will be ten indoor tables with a capacity to seat 26. The hours proposed are noon to midnight on Saturday to Thursday, and noon to 2am on Saturday and Sunday. The board approved the licence. This sounds like fancier fare than the Slice of Brooklyn, the pizza joint that came before this one. GMAP

  1. There’s good businesss coming to the area-but many of them are looking to take advantage of a great locationaiwith black owned bldgs. Most of the new business owners want black owners to rent to them for little to nothing. And they’re doing it with the help a few local self appointed community leaders.
