benno: It’s still the old sign in the picture – the new one is still on the truck.
As for the merch – well, that probably never changes.
benno, it’s actually a different name. The new store is called Dollar Deal on the one sign that isn’t a holdover from the old store, which was Dollar Dreams (or Do Reams, when part of its sign was burnt out for months on end).
looks like the exact dollar store they kicked out several years ago. same name, same merch. at least during the hiatus they were able to cover up the original dreary exterior of that building with a brand new dreary exterior.

Dollar stores are great for certain things, like telephone line splitters, which are now like $7 at Radio Shack and $1 at dollar stores. Also, party supplies like plates and cups. I’m not sad to have one here.
I walked passes the store the other day while they were stocking up. run of the mill Marcal toilet paper and floor to ceiling socks. At the very least this dollar store could have been more the like of a Dollar tree or Dollar general. Sad.
