  1. It is on Willow Place–was there any confusion about that? It’s between the modern houses, one in from the corner of State, across from a row of similar houses (none of which need TLC).

As for the whole POS comment outrage, please get over yourselves. Who cares? I realize that outrage and conflict is more entertaining than pleasant discourse, but let’s save it for things that are actually outrageous and worthy of conflict.

  2. I hate to correct everyone but I am 99% sure this house is on Willow Place, towards the corner of State Street. I used to live two doors down from this house. It for sure needs some TLC and has amazing potential.

  3. Why has everyone become so nasty on brownstoner? I just can’t take it anymore. I used to enjoy a little friendly dispute, but the whole LPG thing and now this…. Shahn was giving the house a backhanded compliment. That’s all. I don’t know how much more time I can spend on this site. And that makes me feel awful, given how Brownstoner is struggling to make it pay as a full time schtick, given all the great work he’s done. I feel like we, the community, has failed to support him in this venture by poisoning the tone of the whole blog recently.

  4. I definitely don’t see a problem with Shahn’s comment, in fact I love to read his posts sometimes it seems as if he’s the only real person who posts how he feels without uppity censorship that others display here. Clearly, brooklyn-heights-neighbor has a lot of experience turning their nose up at the expression of others so if you give so much of a damn (there’s some profanity for you) about these poor ppl’s million dollar brooklyn heights mansion why don’t you give them the money to fix it up and then it won’t be a piece of shit anymore? Shahn is totally right about there being resources to restore a nice property such is this and just as its their prerogative to let it become ridiculously run down its us common folk prerogative to call it a piece of shit so cry me a river with that ole sad song about a bunch of wealthy folks who won’t take care of their damn property… so there’s a profane diatribe for you, you guys can pick on that and get off Shahn

  5. Have you forgotten that we were talking about the house? I love that place! When I first moved to the Heights back in the day, I used to walk my dog around there and we still hang out in the garden on Columbia Place and the dog park next door. Lovely house, lovely block, lovely neighborhood. Anyone know what happened to that place Alicia’s on Columbia?
