I don’t understand the opposition to the school. New Schools are a source of community elevation. I don’t believe anyone opposed the Yeshiva that went in in a very unlikely place. I don’t think the subject even came up- it certainly doesn’t serve the immediate community. It would seem the community has a bone to pick with the so-called ‘rich’ that it doesn’t see the need to extend to any other outlying group to Red Hook. Tell me there will be no jobs created by the school? There is a lot that goes on inside the running of a school facility that has nothing to do with the Administration.
