i was reading somewhere that trader joes does not have security cameras because they prefer to trust their customers. lol. and im sorry but if you are stupid enough to leave your bag down or laptop town while youre browse through your overpriced produce you deserve to be robbed. id imagine 99 percent of the people getting robbed had zero common sense.

Inflation is 0% only at the Federal Reserve, in the real world it is escalating rapidly. Check out the grocery store. Bernanke’s plan to impose an inflation tax on American citizens to protect banker bonuses is going full speed ahead. This could get very ugly.
Not surprised about trader joes being a magnet for crooks, most patrons seem to be catatonic.
I always tip unless I get back talk about where I’m going. If rates go up 19% though, I’m tipping less. Inflation is close to ZERO (that’s why there’s quantitative easing).
I usually get a good trip from them if I’m leaving work after 9pm. I give the guy a 2-3 dollar tip. Unless he bitches about going to Greenpoint then I cut it.
I think if the taxis get a rate hike, tips will go down dramatically. When’s the last time you got exemplary service that warranted a tip???? Taxi rides in most countries do not customarily get tips.
Ditto, if you lived in a better neighborhood you wouldn’t need a security gate!!!
