Those responses are like a list of things I hate about this site and reasons I hardly spend any time on it.
1. Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge have a shitload of Mosques.
Strangely people in Bensonhurst don’t feel the need to knock Sheepshead Bay. (See # 2)
2. Saying things like Sheepshead Bay isn’t worth mentioning is pretty much the epitome of prejudice.
Oh and by the way, Sheepsheadbites.com is an awesome news blog that was just won an award from “Best Local Blogger” from “L” magazine, much like gerritsenbeach.net was named Best Blog in the city by the Village Voice.

There are quite a few mosques throughout Bed Stuy. No one seems to care.
Smokers can’t seem to understand the data that smoking is unhealthy for everyone. I think it’s beyond “ignorance” at this point and more like stupidity.
The more unions push the entitlements issue, the more jobs flow offshore. Cities & States are on the verge of bankruptcy because of one thing…union pensions.
