Tish James is as incompetent as they come. I guarantee you that she will do absolutely nothing to effectively address violence in the neighborhood.
There’s a big difference between being kicked in the head and being pushed by a foot in the head. I probably would have used my foot as well to push scum off my stoop.
Walker would of knocked him out cold if he really kicked him in the back of the head…football punt style.
I’m thinking Walker embarrassed the young cop, and instead of the cop flashing his badge, he draws his weapon with his finger on the trigger.
Why wasn’t the weapon on safety?
“He leapt out of that car practically with his gun drawn”
I’m far from being a police apologist, but either one has his gun drawn, or one doesn’t.
Well! I hope poor bridges isn’t waiting for me over there!
even worse- sounds like it was written by hte crew of Designed to Sell.
…price demolition!

Alas, no photos. It’s from the linked story above about “renovations that help sell a home” in the Post. Ha, sounds like a topic from 1992.
Fair enough. I wonder if there is any surveillance tape – that might clear up things.
Be that as it may ditto, according to the update (and I don’t know if its accurate or not so bear with me please) the cop did not hear the homeowner behind him and got kicked in the back of the head, then punched in the face. Neither of which is calculated to open up a real discussion. My guess is the cop reacted without thinking (a bad thing, yes) but from his point of view, he didn’t know who was behind him- could have been a drug dealer or whatever- until he was assaulted. For all he knew his life was in danger- I’m not saying the cop was right- I’m just saying look at all the circumstances and instead of outright condemning him, ask if he wasn’t just as much a victim of circumstance as the homeowner.
