Find that Perfect End of Summer Beach Read at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Small Press Flea

Grab a book to get you through the rest of the blazing hot summer or stock up on winter reads with the fifth annual Small Press Flea this month.

Sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library and BOMB Magazine, the day-long event will feature the literary wares of more than 30 independent publishers. Among the Brooklyn-based participants are Ugly Duckling Presse, Melville House Publishing, Common Notions and Litmus Press.

The flea takes place on Saturday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the plaza in front of the Central Library at 10 Grand Army Plaza. For the full list of participating publishers, visit the Brooklyn Public Library website here.
