A tipster let us know that Evergreen Deli, at 93 Court Street between Schermerhorn and Livingston streets, is closing this weekend. Apparently it was a favorite with the DoBro work crowd, as our tipster said “it is the only deli in the area where you can sit and it’s big and has a hot bar. It’s the neighborhood deli.” An employee at the deli told us they would not be relocating. Anyone else sad to see it go? GMAP
It is a typical deli place, the only one in the area, so it is a shame that it is closing. the area doesn’t need another fast food chain.
