Dunkin’ Donuts is moving into what may be the most prominent corner in Williamsburg, at Bedford Avenue and North 7th Street. DNAinfo reports that it will be in the former Northside Pharmacy location, right outside the Bedford Avenue subway station. The Northside Pharmacy — surprise, surprise — was priced out of the space and has since moved one block away to Driggs Avenue. The donut chain started working on the space around the 4th of July and should be open in a month or two. Past tenant Halina Jankowski, of Northside Pharmacy, expressed her surprise to DNAinfo: “I just expected something a little more fancy, or original or hip.”
