Oh, this is funny cause I DRIVE thru that intersection almost every day, and as far as I can tell, the pedestrians have no awareness that there are any cars traveling on those streets whatsoever. I always have to remember to just stop and sit there and wait until there is a roomy gap in the throngs that I can hopefully slip thru without missing a lone cellphone-occupied oblivious walker.
(And, uh, yeah, first light in DUMBO? Not. Oh, wait, are those other lights not actually in DUMBO? I don’t know. DUMBO is still a made up neighborhood to me. I’m a reactionary.)

I picture DUMBOites standing on all four corners watching the lights change from green…..to yellow…..to red….back to green….yellow…..red…..to the rapt stares of the crowd. Oooooohhhhhhh.
Seriously, it’s needed down there. People barrel through in their SUV’s like it’s a race track.
didn’t we already go over this- there has been a stoplight one block away at york and bridge, and there are stoplights at old fulton and front, old fulton and everit st…..
I can’t wait to run this on my bike!!
hate to see it in one sense, though drivers just roll through that stop sign, which is taken as an advisory so dangerous
