We’ve been keeping an eye on this little storefront on the Luquer Street side of Prime Meats, and it looks like the snug space, which is attached to the restaurant, is going to be Prime Meats Delicat-essen and Provisions. So far, the shelves are stocked with pantry supplies — like Frankies olive oil — and there were a couple of sausages on display in the deli case, beside big rolls of butcher paper. Looks like the neighbors will soon be serving Prime Meat brats at backyard barbecues. Anyone know when it’s opening? GMAP

The NBC story makes it sound like it will be more of a deli/grocery than a proper butcher shop.
Regardless, the Frankies are borderline rockstars now – I’m sure it will do well.
I bet it won’t have the selection that Los Paisanos has and it’ll be far more expensive.

The really shiny stuff (they also sell satin) is from Fine Paints of Europe. I don’t think this is exactly that though, nor is mine…just a nice satinny finish.
The high gloss FPoE is VERY difficult to apply, especially on vertical surfaces.
What’s the stuffy clothing store with the beautiful green enamel paint? (It’s a chain… not a local)
Anyway, I love that shiny paint. It’s really hard to apply well, isn’t it?
