“The convos are usually how many beers would it take to get to the ‘curious’ stage or something along those lines.”
The number depends on whether the wife is there or not.
Dibs where in Jersey?
Late morning all! Did someone say holiday? Not here. Is there a Columbus Day parade on 5th Avenue that I can’t go to? A year ago today I was in Buenos Aires, and let me tell you, the Argentines go all out celebrating Columbus.
Everyone have a good weekend?
So we got a new rug for the dining room. When they come they are rolled up so when you unroll it and lay it down one edge stays curled up. We put a bunch of bricks down along the edge to weight it back into flatness.
So what do I see when I just went downstairs. Three cats sitting perched on top of bricks looking back and forth at each other with this “Why are we sitting on these bricks again looks on their faces?”
Weirdos.
M4less I was bidding on properties in THE JERSEY CITY HEIGHTS SECTION.. Rents are good and properties are still cheap but I don’t think they are going to get any cheaper.. I thought I was the only guy that had cash nowadays.. On one property the agent got 5 offers after listing it on thursday by friday.. The bank had already accepted a offer over asking.. It was a foreclosure though.. Very attractive price..
dandel, sorry to disappoint you but TARP and economy are usually not the primary conversations at the get togethers. The convos are usually how many beers would it take to get to the ‘curious’ stage or something along those lines.
THL, I’m supposed to get one on Friday
dandel, we try not to talk serious crap at these. I don’t know about companies that still have TARP money but those that HAVE repaid will be able to and will likely pay big bonuses. It’s called capitalism and seems to still be the best system out there. If you don’t want a certain company getting TARP money, you have to take it up with your Congressman.
HoboROCKS, heard forest hills is safe but that’s a relative term one needs to see with own eyes given the rep of Newark
