Snappy, good question. I think cops make enough and they do have great benefits and retirement plans. I have a couple of friends who are cops (one is out in Nassau county though). The other one is in NYPD task force. Both make over 100K with their overtime included. I think it’s a pretty nice salary. They make crap at the beginning but so does most of the careers and then you work your way up.
Don’t forget strollers, ditto!
I have to go interview a candidate, don’t do anything fun while I’m gone.

So, speaking of cops, here’s something to discuss…I think we could all agree that anyone who gets shot at for a living shouldn’t make any less than say 70k a year…if it were solely up to you, what would you cut in the city/state budget to give cops a big raise?
