  1. I agree with Kens.
    To answer Snappy’s question, I would cut generous retirement plans for some city / state workers (including cops) to fund increases lower down the age / experience range. The lower ranks are those most likely to get shot at anyway.
    Actually may have to reduce pensions anyway as many state retirement plans are very underfunded.

    That’s very true. One of my girlfriends that tried internet dating had one guy who when rejected was over the top aggressive and wouldn’t take no for an answer (she never went out with him).

    The DOJ takes that stuff very seriously.

  3. Kens, I think the starting salary is way too low. Of course I’m in the camp of thought that no one, and I mean no one, should make more money than a cop, armed forces personnel, firefighter or teacher. Period.
