If this post on FREE Williamsburg is to be believed, a bunch of middle-class white kids twenty-somethings (?) dressed up as ninjas on Saturday night and ran up and down North 6th Street smashing cars, upending garbage cans and harassing drivers. One tipster also said she heard them chanting “Take Back the Night” (a famous anti-rape refrain) and theorized that it could all have had something to do with the Anarchist Book Fair that was going on. Let’s hope the cops were the ones who got to take back the night.

who know who/how old these people are. incredibly strange. would believe that they are very young – maybe college age. ruining strangers’ cars is just bizarre and hurtful especially during a recession. why car owners in WB? jeez – it makes no sense – it’s not like I bankers’ cars are parked on N. 6th street.
the tea room people seem like completely the wrong targets for a serious group. just a small local biz.
really stupid to damage peoples’ personal property – they would have gotten alot more props if they just chucked a garbage can thru american apparel’s window.
