Closing Bell: Help Fund Holiday Decorations at GAP

The Grand Army Plaza Coalition (GAPCo) is seeking to fund the holiday decorations in Grand Army Plaza this winter and is asking for donations. After the 2010 tornado, Hurricane Irene, and the October 2011 snow-storm, the Prospect Park Alliance diverted funds for maintenance work, taking away the funding for Grand Army Plaza’s annual holiday decorations. This season GAPCo has offered to sponsor the annual Holiday Decorations beneath the Arch. The goal is to raise $4,000 by July 15th , 2012… apparently more than $1,000 has already been pledged.
