Have you heard? Seinfeld’s coming to The Flea tomorrow. Well, not Seinfeld the man (though it’s not impossible) but Seinfeld the show. Jerry’s got a new reality show in the works and they’re doing a casting call at The Flea in Fort Greene tomorrow. They’re looking for couples that want to air their disputes in front of celebrity judges. Hey, it’s cheaper than marriage counseling! On the non-celebrity front, there’s plenty of new stuff to check out, including a woman who makes quilted maps of places like Fort Greene, a former 80s -nightclub-manager-turned-Sullivan-County-vintage-dealer and the latest member of the Flea flock to take refuge from the Chelsea Garage, Blue Jet Toys. Get there early and maybe you’ll be able to snag one of the Scavenger Hunt items up for grabs this week. The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays from 10 to 5 at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues; take the C or G trains to Clinton-Washington) and on Sundays from 11-6 in Dumbo underneath the Brooklyn Bridge at the corner of Water and New Dock Street. Map and directions here.

Mr. B, I have to say that sounds tacky and maybe not in accordance with the image you are trying to project. But obviously you are doing it better than me 🙂
