Closing Bell: Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest This Weekend

The first annual Brooklyn Beer & Wine Festival is scheduled for this Saturday, August 18th. The day-long event includes a huge selections of craft beers, regional wines, and local artisan spirits. Visitors will sample beverages from the venue’s gated outdoor lot, and move inside to a two-level main room to sample food from local eateries and food vendors. Live performances are scheduled throughout the day. The event takes place at 1428 Fulton Street in Bed Stuy — it’s hosted by local wine shop Bed Vyne Wine and YRB Magazine. Ticket prices range from $15 to $30 in advance, you can purchase them here.
