Cellars Space for Rent
It’s been sitting empty for quite a while, but as far as we know the For Rent sign on the front door of Cellars at 250 Dekalb Avenue is new. Given what a prime corner location this in on the best restaurant and dining strip in Fort Greene, this is big news. Let’s hope it…

With the recent loss of Bonita, we’d suggest a really high-quality, family-friendly Mexican place! GMAP
family friendly mexican!
yeah, bar. plus have per per view stuff for boxing, mma, etc. (wings + beer + PPV stuff is great combo)
A bar with food would be great. The Brooklyn public house is pretty crowded these days. Plenty of family friendly eateries in the area already.
I agree…just a decent bar. Who needs family friendly in a bar? Ugh.
South American soccer pub. Not as snooty as the public house, but all food comes with awesome sauce. Not family-unfriendly, but not as friendly after 7:30pm.
Square footage and rent anyone?
***Bid half off peak comps***
wasder – agreed. a great local bar (similar to Moe’s) would be very much appreciated. would like to keep outdoor seating too.
i think they’d seriously need to spruce up the facade.
The old dude in the suit was Tommy Cellars. He was such a cool guy–gentleman to the last.
I would go to Cellars II back in the day.
How about just a bar? Besides the old-time dive-joint on Dekalb (whose name escapes me) is there a bar-bar left on that whole strip?
Plenty of food and family joints already, an adults only space would be nice. Oh and it should cater to all types, rather than follow some damn theme; cowboy, steampunk; 70’s basement, what have you.
