New Cafe for Clinton Street
There’s major construction going on in the large storefront at 200 Clinton Street right off Atlantic. The site manager told us to expect a cafe, but wouldn’t divulge any more details. Regardless, this corner gets a lot of foot traffic and this storefront has been sitting around for awhile. Here’s hoping for the best! GMAP

It would be very simple to change the sign to:
WALK IN MEDICAL CAFE
i like two for the pot. the man that runs it isn’t an ‘old man’. and he’s real good at picking a coffee for you. i don’t know a ton about various roasts, but if i ask for something “dark, not acidic”, he’ll find it for me.
i think there’s only so much one can do to the facade of this place before making it look out of place. it’s part of a row of aluminum art deco facades. i don’t think it would look great if it were altered.
Love the Two for the Pot guy. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Anyway, that store is TINY. He only has to go a few steps to “follow you around.”

I like him!! He custom mixed some delicious tea for me – earl grey with jasmine – very tasty!!
i think the storefront looks fine. i will gag myself with a spoon tho if they paint it the obligatory shiny oil based black paint like every other store that has opened up recently. i mean that doesnt look bad per se, but i’d rather see some other facade decorating for a change.

For those of your who aren’t kidding walk in means no appointment necessary – saying walk or roll in prob not necessary.
But let’s get to the grit – that storefront is ugly – they are going to needs to start all over with a match and some firestarter.
