Brownstoner already volunteered that he is shelling out 7K for the new backyard.
How are you dealing with drainage?
Despite claiming not wanting to be rude, it is rude to ask how much Brownstoner is spending.
If you want to know price, call a few landscapers and get some of your own.
Where’s the Jacuzi and the chicks?
I have a lilac bush still in pot and healthy (Monrovia) looking for a home if you would like. (In greenpoint)
-Sure the sod will come out looking nice, but, just for the record, we grew a nice (cheap!) plush lawn in our back garden with good old-fashioned topsoil + grass seed from Lowe’s–and the garden doesn’t even face south! Granted, it took two seasons, though, so not for the impatient. . . .
